The Fort Monroe Motorcycle Association is a motorcycle safety oriented
riding association that focuses on the enjoyment and fellowship of
safely riding motorcycles.
The Fort Monroe Motorcycle Association is open for everyone who
enjoys riding. Active duty military, civilian employees, contractors, family
members and retirees are all eligible for membership.
We participate in a number of events including safety awareness
programs, community rides and events, local and long distance rides.
Are you considering or recently purchased a motorcycle and looking for
help in learning to ride safely ? Have you been riding awhile and have
experience to share with others?
In both cases, our organization stands ready to assist you in learning
how to safely operate the motorcycle, developing your riding skills, and
sharing your knowledge and skills with others.
As a member of our organization you can receive an assigned mentor
who will help you every step of the way. You'll polish your individual
riding skills and learn all the details of group riding.

| Whats Hot?! Based on popular demand, our next meeting will be Sunday, 12 Oct 08 at 1300 in the Bay Haven Grill in Yorktown. Originally scheduled for Sat, 11 Oct, we are moving it over to Sunday. We hope that this will best accommodate most of everyone's schedules. The agenda will be lunch, meet and ride. We hope that you can participate in all. We will be meeting two new members and would like to show them a warm welcome. We plan to go out on Colonial Parkway, take the Ferry and come back on 5. Hope all can make it as we need to start talking about the up coming Elections. That's right it's time to start thinking about who you want to lead us next year. This has been a great year and I look forward to the next. If you know anyone that would like to join, have them get on the website, fill out the registration form and bring them to the meeting. 1 Nov, is HU Home Comming Parade. |
